China Glaze Lighting Bolt Crackle

This is not what I was going to post today. On my nails today is OPI: Brake For Manicures. I feel like I got a bad bottle or something. It does not look anything like the swatches I've seen on other blogs. Hmmm...Maybe I just can't capture it in picture. This is a photo that I found in my files. China Glaze Lighting Bolt. Simple enough. I enjoy these crackles. I have no idea what I used for a base coat.

China Glaze Westside Warrior With Platinum Pieces

Below we have Westside Warrior from China Glaze Metro Collection. It is a khaki olive green with a cream finish. The formula was okay. Not to thick or thin. I used two coats topped with SV. This isn't the most original green I've seen or have but it'll do.

I wanted to use more of my China Glaze metallic crackles so I put Platinum Pieces over Westside Warrior.

I think I used to thick of a coat because it didn't crack that well. I'm chalking that up to user error!
Have you guys seen any of the pictures of this years Cosmoprof? The upcoming collections are looking epic! I am so excited.

I Hope People Aren't Getting Tired Of Crackles!!

Alright guys, here I have the new Royal Velvet from the Orly Precious collection. Holy crap look how gorgeous this is!! It's purple no wait it's blue. I absolutely love it. Formula was great and dried quickly too. I like to use thinner coats, so this is with three coats and topped with Seche Vite. I took three pictures to try and capture all the different colors in the polish.

You can definitely see the purple. Do you see the blue?

Mostly purple.

I think here you can definitely see the blue!

I think this has cracked my top ten polishes!!!
And now China Glaze crackle time!!

Here I put Crushed Candy over Royal Velvet

Sorry if the pictures are a touch blurry. My hands were having a shaky day. So far still impressed with the crackle collection from China Glaze. On a side note I did top the crackle with Seche Vite. Well done on their part. I should get the OPI Black Shatter to compare.

And Another..

I bought a ton of new Orly products recently so you guys might be seeing a bunch of those.
Here we have Orly Green With Envy
And of course I'm still playing with the new China Glaze Crackle collection.
This is Cracked Concrete over Orly Green with Envy
Again I love the crackle formation with this one. It's just perfect and lets the right amount of color shine through.

I Hate Febuary

I don't think I've had so many things go wrong in one month!!! The good news is that I got a ton of new polish and China Glaze Crackle Collection came out!!!! Yay!!!!!!! I bought all six colors.
Here I have on San Tan-tonio from the OPI Texas Collection. I was surprised I liked this color. Nudes colors make me a little nervous. This one was great with my skin tone and 2 coats to be opaque.
So I wore the color alone for half a day and then......

I added Fault Line form China Glaze Crackle Collection. I love love love this stuff!!!!
It cracked just perfect and it dried fast. I've also used Cracked Concrete (pictures to come) and I can't wait to try the rest!!
Until next time,
