Milani Dress Maker

Random polish of the day is...Milani Dress Maker. I bought this one because it's suppsosed to be a dupe for Chanel Jade. I don't have Jade to compare it to but when I looked at swatches online, this does seem like a decent match.

Okay, I think the formula sucked (sorry). It was watery and streaky. I needed to use four coats. I ended up smudging it a bit because it took forever to dry (even with SV).
It is a great color and I will probably wear it again as long as I have the patience that day to deal with the formula.

Something New! (Slightly Picture Heavy)

First I'd like to say 'welcome' to the new followers! I was surprised when I logged into blogger today.

I decided to try something new because I have so many polishes that I have not swatched yet. Everyday (or every other day), I'm going to randomly pick a polish (possibly two polishes) out of my collection. I have already separated my polishes into different containers. A container for colors that I have not swatched and a container for swatched colors.

You may ask 'how will you pick the random colors'. I'm literally going to close my eyes and pick!!

I would like your feedback. Is this a good idea or should I scrape it and come up with something else?

I picked two polishes today. The first is Milani Hi-Res from the 3-D Holographic collection. This is a purple base with all sorts of micro-glitter/shimmer colors. I find this polish is on the sheer side so I had to use four coats. Even sheer it was still easy to work with. I was pleasantly surprised by this color. In the bottle I didn't think I was going to like it. On my nails though it is awesome.

Next we have Milani Cyberspace, also from the 3-D Holographic collection. Again this was a sheer polish so I had to use four coats. Way better looking on my nails that in the bottle, just like Hi-Res.

Sorry for so many pictures but I felt it was necessary to capture all of the shimmer and different colors. I hope everyone likes the new theme!

Milani One Coat Glitters

First of all I need to give a shout out to Erika over at http://chloesnails.blogspot.com/ . I can't find a single place in my city that sells any Milani polish (even their products in general). Well, one day when I was looking at Erika's blog and I noticed she had some of her favorite websites listed. http://www.cherryculture.com/ was listed on their. Finally a website that offers the newest Malani polishes!!!! I've tried other websites but this is the first where I could find everything I wanted in one spot. You guys should definitely check it out. In my I order I received 2 of the one coat glitter. Here is what the website claims.

·Highly concentrated color glitters
·Chic and cool, with rockstar glam
·Long-lasting, chip resistant formula

I love this polish. I'd say its a medium chunk glitter. My favorite thing though is that it dries fast...and I mean really fast. When it dries, it can look a semi-matte. I used Seche Vite over it. Here are the colors that I got.
