China Glaze Midnight Mission

Midnight Mission came out in the Vintage Vixen collection back in 2010. It is a deep blue with a metallic/foil finish. It seemed everyone was raving about this one when it came out. Don't shoot me...Not a huge fan. It doesn't perk me up, get me excited or really illicit any feeling at all. I actually wanted to take it off as soon as I put it on...AGAIN my opinion!

I added a little Kleancolor Chunky Holo BlueBell to the ring and middle finger for fun. Not bad I suppose.

Until next time,

Deborah Lippmann Mermaid Piss.....

Whoops, I meant Deborah Lippmann Mermaid Dreams. My friends who have seen me wear it, dubbed it Mermaid Piss lol. Dreams is a gorgeous sea foam green with small gold micro glitter and medium bright blue glitter. It also has this metallic/foilish look to it. I have not seen anything like this...ever! This color is so noticeable that I kind of got in trouble when I was in clinical at the hospital. I usually wear a neutral color and as I told my teacher, it was either finish my paper that was due at 6am or take this polish off 'sorry'. It was easy to apply and I only need two coats.

Sorry the picture is not the best. I used my Iphone.

Zoya Jules

I received this color when Zoya had its Intimate collection on sale for 25$. Jules is a sparkling neutral light taupe with gold, silver and champagne metallic shimmer. I was surprised I liked this color so much. I don't know if it necessarily goes with my skin tone but oh well. The formula was perfect. This is three coats topped with China Glaze Fast Forward.

Zoya keeps impressing me with their colors, promos, and definitely customer service. They are a great company!!!
I have been using Qtica Intense Cuticle Repair Balm. I like how it sinks into the skin. Now I just have to stop picking at my cuticles.

China Glaze Awaken

Awaken is from the Romantique collection that was from the 2009 China Glaze spring collection. This has become one of my favorite 'grays'. It is a blue-charcoal metallic. The formula wasn't to thick or to thin. This is two coats topped with Seche Vite. I think some metallics can look tacky. This was more subtle than others I've tried. Anyways, it's really nice out, I'm going to enjoy it!
